A Little Bit About Me
Salams and thank you for stopping by to learn a little bit about me!

I am an accomplished engineer who has successfully developed new technologies for one of the largest food and drink companies in the world which means I get to travel :). Its a great job with lots of opportunities.

My friends would describe me as resilient, driven, humble, easy going, considerate, adventurous, Islamically inclined and very principled. :)

In my spare time i enjoy playing sports and keeping fit (ran the London marathon twice). Dinning with friends and spending time with my nephew and nieces at National Trust venues.

Other things that interest me include history, nature, walking watching a good movie or two.

So why have I not been married before?...we'll that could be for several reasons, one of which is in my 20's and 30's arranged marriags was the norm, (unheard of now) which I couldn't go along with and then unfortunately my mum suffered ill health and during my 40's me and my brother provided full time care for our mother who in addition developed advanced dementia. Caring for my mum for over a decade, progressing my career and maintaining my sanity = resiliant + very caring chap :).

My wonderful mother has now sadly passed away and leaving me feeling incredibly lucky to have had wonderful parents and the opportunity to show how much they meant to me.

Now time for me to see if there is someone I am meant to be with. Born and raised in the UK and my parents originate from Lahore.

Not sure what else to write at this stage. Oh just in case its of importance, I celebrated my birthday at the start of November.
